Registration of ECI European Day of ‘Whatever it Takes’

23/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Tuesday 22 November the registration of the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI), which aims to make 26 July the ‘European Day of Whatever It Takes’, in reference to the statement of former ECB President Mario Draghi, who declared on 26 July 2012 that the Frankfurt-based monetary institute was ready to do anything it could to preserve the integration of the euro area (see EUROPE B10664A4).
