EU extends sanctions against Burundian official by one year

On Tuesday 25 October, in the context of a regular review of the situation in Burundi, the EU decided upon a one year renewal until 31 October 2023 of the restrictive measures regime established by EU Council Decision (CFSP) 2015/1763, which now relates to only one person.

The Council has removed three names from the list of persons subject to an EU entry ban and an EU asset freeze (see EUROPE B12125A29).
