Latvia adopts €4.6 billion partnership agreement for 2021-2027

On Friday 21 October the European Commission approved Latvia’s Partnership Agreement under the Cohesion Policy 2021-2027. The objective of the €4.6 billion of funding is to support the green and digital transitions while boosting innovation in the economy, healthcare and social services.

To support the ecological transition, Latvia will benefit from €839 million from the ERDF and the Cohesion Fund to invest in renewable energy and increase its energy independence.
