European Parliament approves text transposing Indian Ocean Tuna Commission measures

04/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – In Strasbourg on Tuesday, 4 October, the European Parliament approved (596 votes in favour, 4 against, and 22 abstentions) the text of the regulation—agreed upon with the EU Council—on management, conservation, and control measures applicable in the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) Area of Competence.
