26/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – The ECDC announced, on Monday 26 September, the opening of a call for applications on 23 September for two fellowship programmes in epidemiology and microbiology. The first fellowship path is ‘EPIET’ which will allow the selected laureates to benefit from training and practical experience in intervention epidemiology in one of the EU’s national and regional centres for surveillance and control of communicable diseases. The second path, ‘EUPHEM’, is in public health microbiology which will allow candidates to gain both training and experience in laboratories or public health training sites belonging to a consortium of laboratories in the EU.
