Greenpeace takes legal action against European Commission over inclusion of gas and nuclear in EU taxonomy

On Monday 19 September, the NGO Greenpeace announced that it had taken legal action against the European Commission over its decision to include fossil gas and nuclear power in the EU taxonomy.

According to the organisation, this decision(see EUROPE B12991A32) violates not only the EU regulation establishing the taxonomy - a classification system listing economic activities that can be considered environmentally sustainable in order to guide private investors - but also the European Climate...
