19/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – Irish judge Siofra O’Leary was elected President of the European Court of Human Rights on Monday 19 September. She succeeds Iceland’s Robert Spano, elected in 2020, and becomes the first woman to preside over this international court established in 1959.
