Josep Borrell calls on Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to de-escalate

19/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 16 September, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, the ceasefire agreed on the same day between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and called on both countries to respect its implementation. On Friday, violent clashes broke out along the border between the two countries, leaving dozens dead.
