Alternative fuels infrastructure, European Commission announces funding for 24 projects for a total of €292 million

The European Commission announced, on Tuesday 13 September, that it has selected 24 projects to receive EU funding to develop the deployment of alternative fuel infrastructure.

The package, worth a total of €292 million from the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility, is expected to fund 5,700 charging stations, 1,400 refuelling stations and 57 hydrogen refuelling stations across 23 Member States along the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
