The European Commission announced, on Tuesday 13 September, that it has selected 24 projects to receive EU funding to develop the deployment of alternative fuel infrastructure.
The package, worth a total of €292 million from the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility, is expected to fund 5,700 charging stations, 1,400 refuelling stations and 57 hydrogen refuelling stations across 23 Member States along the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
