MEPs approve new NAFO measures

13/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – In Strasbourg on Tuesday 13 September, the European Parliament approved the text of an agreement with the EU Council on conservation and enforcement measures applicable in the regulatory area of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO). The report by Isabel Carvalhais (S&D, Portuguese) was adopted with 589 votes in favour, 6 against, and 38 abstentions.
