European Commission registers ECI on renewable energy and rural heritage

The European Commission decided on Wednesday 7 September to register two European Citizens’ Initiatives (ECI) in the field of renewable energy and rural heritage protection.

The organisers of the Renewable Energy Initiative (https://aeur.eu/f/2yr) are calling for action to build and install the necessary infrastructure to supply households (including in the most remote villages) with green energy to reduce their carbon footprint.
