19/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – Following a review, the European Commission published an implementing regulation on Monday 18 July to increase an anti-dumping duty on certain woven and/or stitched glass fibre fabrics from Egypt. These products were already covered by a definitive tariff of 20% from 2020 (see EUROPE 12462/25). An investigation reopened at the end of 2021 found a drop in export prices on these products in Egypt, which undermined the impact of the anti-dumping duty already imposed by the EU. The Commission is therefore increasing the anti-dumping duty on these Egyptian glass fibre fabrics to 33.1%. See the implementing regulation: https://aeur.eu/f/2or (LM)
