12/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino, announced on Tuesday 12 July that Member States are considering a new tranche of aid from the European Peace Facility for Ukraine. “We are now discussing the possibility of a fifth tranche of €500 million more”, he announced at a hearing in the European Parliament. The Europeans have already agreed on the allocation of €2 billion to Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion. The total budget for the Facility over 2021-2027 is €5.692 billion in current prices. (CG)
