MEPs adopt draft resolution on impact of war on transport and tourism sectors in European Parliament committee

MEPs on the European Parliament Committee on Transport adopted, on Thursday 28 April, a draft resolution on the impact of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine on the tourism and transport sectors (43 votes in favour, one against, five abstentions).

MEPs are calling on Russia to immediately return more than 400 aircraft leased by Russian airlines to European companies that have still not been returned (see EUROPE B12930A4).

As a reminder, Russia had to return more than 500 leased...
