28/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – Initially scheduled for 3 May, the new EU strategy on international energy cooperation should finally be presented by the European Commission on 18 May, in parallel with the follow-up to the ‘REPowerEU’ plan, according to the institution’s latest provisional timetable. This will be a communication aimed at redefining the EU’s energy diplomacy to encourage countries outside the EU to decarbonise their energy systems. (DG)
