Euro area inflation estimated at 7.5% in March

01/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – Annual inflation in the euro area is expected to be 7.5% in March, up from 5.9% in February, according to a flash estimate published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Friday 1 April. This rate was highest in Lithuania (15.6%), Estonia (14.8%), the Netherlands (11.9%) and Latvia (11.2%).
