23/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – The international cross-party network ‘United for Ukraine (U4U)’, which brings together parliamentarians actively supporting Ukraine’s European future, was officially launched on 22 March. According to a statement by Andrius Kubilius (EPP, Lithuania), the network already includes more than 150 members of the European Parliament and national parliaments representing 28 countries and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The network will act as a virtual and in-person forum to exchange information and ideas to promote Ukraine’s path to the EU and to adopt relevant European and national policies to help the Ukrainian government and Ukrainians stand against Russia. “We will tirelessly raise the issues of arms deliveries, Western sanctions, the future reconstruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure and economy, Ukraine’s integration into the EU, etc.”, Mr Kubilius said.
