MEPs are divided over the extent to which the new food security imperatives will be accounted for in future legislative proposals arising from the European Green Deal.

The European Parliament is set to debate food security in the context of the war in Ukraine on Wednesday 23 March and to adopt a joint resolution (see EUROPE B12915A3).
