Green light for €209 million in Hungarian support for construction of SK On Hungary’s electric vehicle battery plant

The European Commission approved, on Tuesday 22 March, €209 million Hungarian State Aid for SK On Hungary.

The investment aid will support the construction of a new battery cell manufacturing plant in the Közép-Dunántúl region.

SK On Hungary (formerly SK Battery Hungary) is part of the SK Group, a South Korean company active globally in various industries, including energy, chemicals, semi-conductors, information and communications technology, logistics and service.
