On Wednesday 9 March, at an informal meeting in Nevers, the Telecommunications Ministers of the EU Member States adopted a joint political declaration on the objectives and priorities for cyber security in the EU (see EUROPE B12846A1). The statement comes against the backdrop of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with the risk of cyber-attacks within the EU increasing.
