RT’s French branch files appeal with CJEU to overturn its broadcast ban

09/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 9 March, the French subsidiary of the Russian state-owned media network RT filed an appeal with the Court of Justice of the European Union to overturn its ban on broadcasting in the EU. This decision was adopted by the EU on 1 March as part of the sanctions against Moscow (see EUROPE B12902A9).
