21/01/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 20 January, the European Commission approved the registration of Uvs chatsargana (sea buckthorn) as the first Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) from Mongolia. The berries are usually yellow, orange or reddish, with a juicy pulp, an aromatic smell and a sour taste.
