The European Commission announced, on Wednesday 22 December, the allocation of €314.35 million to Poland, Hungary and France under the REACT-EU initiative to support the recovery of territories from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Poland should thus benefit from €65.15 million (for the Silesia and Lower Silesia regions). Hungary, for its part, should receive €219.2 million. Lastly, France is expected to get around €30 million for the outermost region of Martinique.
In addition, the European Commission has announced €366.8 million for the 2022 tranche of REACT-EUto support the recovery and pave the way for Spain’s digital and ecological transition.
According to the latest data published on 14 December by the European Commission, €37.8 billion have been allocated under the initiative, which has an overall budget of €50.6 billion in current prices (see other news).
