SURE instrument, European Commission proposes €147 million for Hungary

21/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 21 December, the European Commission announced an additional €147 million in financial support for Hungary under the SURE instrument for temporary Support to mitigate Unemployment Risks in an Emergency. Hungary is the seventh Member State, together with Belgium, Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania and Malta, to have applied for the instrument in 2021, in addition to the support obtained in 2020.
