Pact on Migration and Asylum, no breakthrough on Eurodac regulation under Slovenian EU Council Presidency

21/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – The Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU handed over the file on the revision of the Eurodac Regulation to the French Presidency on Tuesday 21 December, after it became clear that it could not reach a partial agreement. A briefing was given to national ambassadors to the EU on the text of the Pact on Migration and Asylum, which the Slovenian Minister of the Interior, Aleš Hojs, had hoped to push forward at the last EU Council of Home Affairs...
