Council of Europe publishes damning report on treatment of migrants by Croatian law enforcement agencies

In a report on Croatia published on Thursday 2 December, the Council of Europe revealed several testimonies of migrants seriously mistreated by the police. It calls on the Croatian authorities to investigate these allegations and deplores the lack of cooperation shown by the Croatian authorities during the visit of the experts of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) from 10 to 14 August.
