Inflation estimated to be 4.9% in November in euro area

30/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – Annual inflation in the euro area is estimated at 4.9% in November, up from 4.1% in October. This is the highest level in more than 20 years, according to a flash estimate published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Tuesday 30 November. It was highest in Lithuania (9.3%) and Estonia (8.4%), and lowest in Malta (2.3%) and Portugal (2.7%).
