MEPs give green light to €1.2 million EGF grant for Spain

09/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 9 November, the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgets approved the payment of aid worth €1.2 million to Spain, from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF). The draft report by Eider Gardiazabal Rubial (S&D, Spain) recommending that Parliament approve the aid was adopted with 26 votes (no votes against and no abstentions).
