Court of Justice clarifies EU rules governing rights of passengers traveling by sea

The Court of Justice of the European Union has interpreted the regulation (1177/2010) governing the rights of passengers travelling by sea and inland waterway, in a judgment delivered on Thursday 2 September concerning a dispute between Irish Ferries and the Irish Transport Authority (Case C-570/19).
