Court orders Warsaw to suspend application of ‘muzzle law’ on disciplinary regime of judges

The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ordered Poland on Wednesday 14 July to immediately suspend the application of the provisions of its ‘muzzle law’ regarding the disciplinary regime of judges relating to the competences of the disciplinary chamber of the Polish Supreme Court pending the final judgment of the CJEU in this case (C-204/21) (see EUROPE B12690A4).
