In 2019, there were 554 million nights booked via digital platforms, according to Eurostat

29/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – During 2019, more than 554 million overnight stays in the EU were booked via digital platforms such as Airbnb, Booking, Expedia Group or Tripadvisor, according to figures published by the EU’s statistical office (Eurostat) on Tuesday 29 June. This means that on an average day, approximately 1.5 million guests slept in a bed booked through one of these four platforms.
