17/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – Having taken note of the 10th post-bailout surveillance report on Greece (see EUROPE 12732/1), on Thursday 17 June the Eurogroup in Luxembourg approved the release of a further relief of Greek public debt, quantified at €748 million. It welcomes the continuation of structural measures, such as the reform of the insolvency framework and the finalisation of the introduction of a minimum income guarantee, despite the Covid-19 pandemic. It advocates efforts to continue reforming the financial sector and to clear the stock of payment arrears in the public administration. The 11th report is expected next September.
