15/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 14 June, France Industrie published a document for the European Commission and, in this case, for Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton, presenting a series of proposals to operationalise the concept of ecosystems and effectively implement the recently updated industrial strategy (see EUROPE 12713/6). The European Commission’s desired approach “weakens” governance and delivery, the paper says. The national organisation proposes to focus on energy-intensive and health sector ecosystems. It regrets the timidity of the proposed actions in the fight against industrial dependencies. In general, the national organisation calls for more legislative, regulatory, and especially financial support, believing that European action cannot rest on its laurels.
