Fifty stakeholders call on EU keep road transport and buildings out of ETS

A coalition of fifty stakeholders, including European cities and regions, businesses and civil society organisations, sent a letter to the European Union institutions on Thursday 20 May calling for more ambition in the forthcoming ‘Fit for 55’ legislative package. In particular, they call for road transport and buildings to be kept outside the EU Emission Trading System (ETS).
