European Parliament adopts regulation establishing future European Cybersecurity Competence Centre

20/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday, 20 May, MEPs adopted the regulation establishing the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre (see EUROPE B12702A39). With this centre, which will be set up in Bucharest, the EU intends to strengthen the security of the Internet and other critical networks and systems by pooling investment in research, technology, and industrial development.
