MEPs adopted by 571 votes to 17 and 105 abstentions, on Thursday 20 May, a resolution on removing obstacles to the proper functioning of the digital single market and improving the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for European consumers.
The resolution thus calls for more measures to be put in place at European level so that the EU can “become a world leader in digital innovation”, while maintaining a risk and trust-based approach.
