19/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – As part of the combat against the effects of the pandemic, MEPs approved (675 votes to 8, 13 abstentions), on Tuesday 18 May, the mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund to the tune of €397.5 million for 17 Member States (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania and Spain). and 3 candidate countries (Albania, Montenegro and Serbia). €87 million has been approved for Greece and France following the natural disasters of 2020.
