On Monday 10 May, the Council of the EU adopted the regulation on the export regime for dual-use items, which will control exports of products that have both civilian and military uses.
This regulation will replace the 2009 regulation and will allow for the inclusion within its scope of products related to cyber-surveillance and emerging technologies.
