EU co-legislators hope to reach agreement on public country-by-country reporting on 1 June

The Council of the EU and the European Parliament hope to reach a political agreement on public country by country reporting (or CBCR) at their next upcoming inter-institutional negotiation meeting, which is expected to take place on 1 June.

This was stated by the chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON), Irene Tinagli (S&D, Italy), on Monday 10 May.
