New climate commitments would lead to global warming of 2.4˚C by 2100, estimates Climate Action Tracker

04/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – If implemented, the new commitments made by countries present at Joe Biden’s international climate summit (see EUROPE B12704A14) would lead to global warming of 2.4˚C by the end of the century, according to an estimate released on Tuesday 4 May by Climate Action Tracker, a consortium formed by research institutes Climate Analytics and New Climate Institute.
