European Patent Office announces finalists for European Inventor Award 2021

04/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 4 May, the European Patent Office (EPO) unveiled the list of 15 inventors and teams of inventors for the 2021 European Inventor Award. Some examples of selected inventions include a device for improved nasal drug delivery by Norwegian Per Gisle Djupesland, an invention to use carbon dioxide to make greener plastics by Christoph Gürtler from Germany, and DNA-based data storage by the Austrian Robert N.
