EU Council adopts 2021-2027 ‘Justice’ and ‘Rights and Values’ programmes

20/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 19 April, the EU Council adopted the ‘Justice’ and ‘Rights and Values’ programmes for the 2021-2027 period (see EUROPE B12030A12), which will be eligible for up to €1.8 billion. Partial agreements on the broad outlines of the programmes had already been reached by the co-legislators in March 2019 (see EUROPE B12207A9, B12209A6) while the budgetary aspects were settled in December 2020 (see EUROPE B12626A6).
