European Parliament, Renew Europe and Greens/EFA will co-lead negotiations on pay transparency

Which parliamentary committee and which group should lead the negotiations on the proposal for a directive to introduce European standards on pay transparency (see EUROPE B12671A1)? Discussions on this issue, which have been ongoing since early March in the European Parliament, were finalised this week.

Two committees will work together on this issue: the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) and the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM).
