European Commission has not blocked any further exports of vaccines to Australia

According to the latest figures from the Covid-19 vaccine export licensing mechanism, no new exports have been blocked to 7 April 2021. AstraZeneca therefore did not submit an application to export 3.1 million doses to Australia before that date. 

The Australian government had referred to the absence of these AstraZeneca doses, which should have arrived from the EU, without giving the exact reason (see EUROPE B12693A2).
