05/02/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission presented, on Friday 5 February, its Strategic Agenda for Medical Ionising Radiation Applications (SAMIRA) Action Plan. Its aim: to improve the safety and quality of radiological and nuclear technologies for therapeutic purposes, such as mammography, computer tomography and other forms of radiological imaging, which often play a key role in the fight against cancer.
