Own-initiative report on Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism adopted by European Parliament Committee on Environment

The own-initiative report on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) was approved, on Friday 5 February, by the European Parliament’s Committee on Environment (ENVI) by 58 votes to 8 with 10 abstentions. It details the European Parliament’s vision for the future CBAM (see EUROPE B12650A7).
