03/02/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Wednesday 3 February the appointment of Alexandra Jour-Schroeder as Deputy Director-General of the Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union (FISMA). Ms Jour-Schroeder, a German national, has 24 years of experience at the Commission. Since 2011, she has been working at the Directorate-General for Justice (JUST), where she currently holds the position of Acting Deputy Director and Director of ‘Criminal Justice’. The date of entry into force of this decision will be determined at a later stage, the Commission said in its press release. (MF)
