European Parliament deplores intensification of repression of fundamental and human rights defenders

MEPs deplored, once again on Friday 18 December, the continued and intensified repression of fundamental and human rights activists “solely in response to the exercise of their fundamental freedoms or the expression of their dissent” by state authorities and security forces in Egypt.
