03/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – “Concerned” by the increase in antisemitic threats, incidents, and crimes in the EU (see EUROPE 12557/27, 12424/10), the Council of the EU adopted on Wednesday 2 December a declaration on mainstreaming the fight against antisemitism in all policy areas of the Union. “The fight against antisemitism is a cross-cutting issue involving different levels of government and policies at local, national and European level”, the Member States stressed in their declaration. There is therefore a need to raise awareness of antisemitism across all European policies and responsibilities. To view the full statement: https://bit.ly/33FtpHl (AC)
