Number of EU Member States that have not ratified Istanbul Convention is six

26/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what was stated in our article of 23 November (see EUROPE B12607A21), the number of EU Member States that have not ratified the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence - the Istanbul Convention - is six, not seven, as the United Kingdom has left the Union. The error was corrected online. (AC)
